Probable Lawsuit! Im uncertain about some sign’s I bought for the kennel.?

We live in the country where the Hoot owls mate with the chickens. We have a large kennel with 7 German shepherds on the property. We have a 6 foot chain link fence which surrounds one acre of land enclosing the kennel. I bought some sign’s that say BEWARE OF DOGS. My wife said not to display sign’s like that because it could intimidate a human from entering the property and if someone was to get bit they could use the sign’s against me in a court of law. Is this true?

there is some truth to this – but i don’t know exactly how much. i’ve heard it discussed between other dog folks.

put up No Trespassing signs, that way, they were warned.

Can i get charged if my dog attacks someone?

I have a 2 year old german shepherd who is very protective of me and his family. I have fully fence yard and 3 warning signs. If someone were to break in or try to while in my property and my dog attacks them will I be fined or anything? I know as a fact that my dog will attack any intruder. No he is not trained. I live in in Ontario but im not sure about the law.

In all truth, if your dog attacks someone, on his own property, I do not think that can be held against you. If you allow the dog to continue attacking to where it may result in the death of the intruder, then you may possibly be having a conversation with the law.
