breeding my purebread white german shepherd?

I live in western washington near seattle.I am looking for a purebread male white german shepherd to breed with my 2 year old purebread female white german shepherd.My female has papers The male should also have papers.I have been looking all over for a male white german shepherd but have had no luck.If anyone knows where I can get my Purebreadnwhite german shepherd bread please reply.The male dog has to be full blooded purebread white german shepherd and live in western washington.

I volunteer for washington german shephard rescue-there are 3 german shephard rescues in our area…all of them are over-run and having to turn down rescues in this area because we don’t have the room or funds to save them all..(the ones we have to turn down, invariably end up euthanised..)most are very nice perfectly healthy doggies.
Please, I know you have a unique breed, but consider the pups, and the number of people who get them and think they have a cool tough breed and leave them outside, on a rope, miserable and lonely, untrained and occassionally abused.
I at the moment have a GSD, who was so neglected and abused…she was left outside in a kennel with a cement floor…they had her de-barked because they couldn’t stand the barking that an ignored dog does…scars on her elbows from sleeping on concrete…please, please…if you love dogs, don’t do this.

is the back legs of a german shepherd is vital for the breed description ?

I am planning to get a german shepherd puppy , and all they talk about in the pet shop is the back legs of the puppy I am gonna buy.. is it really that important ?

First of all never buy from a pet shop. There dogs come from puppy mills, the dogs are normally unhealthy and extremely poor specimens of the breed.

The rear and the sloping topline is what gives the GSD its look. Also GSD are very prone to hip dysplasia so you should need to make sure that the parents are certified by the OFA free of hip dysplasia…the ones in the pet shop won’t be. Personally I wouldn’t consider any litter unless the parents had a minimum of passing OFA hips and elbow ratings and current CERF certification. You breed a German Shepherd when you have sufficiently educated yourself on the breed not to have to ask these questions. You need to be familiar with the genetics of your particular bloodline, there are hereditary diseases that breeding stock should be screened against – not all dogs are of breeding quality – ask yourself – why do you want to breed? If the answer is money – then have your dogs fixed. German Shepherds have large litters – lots of puppies to worm and vaccinate – before they go to their owners – then the homes need to be screened – not everyone who will call you for a puppy really needs a dog – a shepherd is a large responsibility – they are intelligent, noble and high energy dogs who deserve to be in the best of homes.
