What could this kind of growth be on a German Shepherd?

My friend’s German Shepherd has a small, bright red-colored growth looking thing on his chest. He is an adult German Shepherd. We both work at a Veterinarian’s office and was trying to figure out what it was. It’s smaller than the size of an egg. It hasn’t ulcerated yet or whatever. She’s worried about cancer. Any ideas on what kind of growth it might be? Any information will be helpful.
My friend’s dog was at her house, and we were just researching some on our own while at work and gathering opinions. She is going to take it to the Vets.

A Brief Look into German Shepard Puppies

German Shepard puppies have only risen in popularity in the later 19th century. This breed of large sized dogs is classified as working dogs, and is part of a group that was originally utilized to herd sheep. As early as their stage as puppies, they already exhibit acute intelligence and strength, much so that they are often given roles in the police and military forces anywhere in the world. They also show a fierce loyal and defensive nature, these characteristic have also been acknowledged by dog owners, making the German Shepard ideal guard and companion dogs. They are currently one of the dog world’s most registered breeds.

German Shepard puppies trace their origins in Germany’s Phylax Society, which in the 1890s, aimed to standardize dog breeds. When the society disbanded only after three years its foundation, a former member, ex-cavalry captain Max von Stephanitz founded the Society for the German Shepherd Dog, aiming to breed working dogs patterned after a superior dog he discovered in a dog show named Horand von Grafrath. Horand and offspring were the first German Shepard dogs, with this breed gaining international recognition after the First World War, when German Shepard dogs were used in missions. Furthering the popularity of the breed were movies that featured German Shepard dogs Strongheart and Rin Tin Tin.

German Shepard puppies are available in a number of colors; common colors are combinations of black and red and black and tan and have double coats. Even as puppies, they are specifically grown and bred as they have been proven to the world’s third most intelligent dog breed. As working dogs, their training in police and military work start at a young age. Alas, they are also known for their keen sense of smell.

has anyone heard of a red german shepherd before?

We got a puppy from a friend who says the sire is full blooded german police and the dan is full blooded Shepherd. he is a reddish color with tan markings. his nose is reddish liver colored. he has eyes that are a reddish green color. He is really beautiful mean scary looking. Someone said they were called spirit dogs. hope someone can help. His eyes have a gold coloring around them.

The correct name of the breed is German Shepherd dog, and we usually say purebred because all dogs have the same amount of blood so they are all “full blooded”.

Dogs are considered to be a man’s best companion. And they are available in different forms. So from the widely available types of dog breeds you can choose upon the companion of your life.

The different types of dog breeds are:

1. Affenpinscher: This dog breed is very alert, friendly and intelligent. They are very easy to train and like all dogs they are very loyal. They can become very aggressive at times. They need to exercise properly to stay active.

3. Australian Shepherd: This is a breed of very loyal and alert dog. They are a little shy among the strangers. But they are very easy to train and are intelligent. The males are 20-23” inches long and weigh 50-65 lbs whereas the females are 18-21” and weigh 40-55 lbs. They come mostly in red, black colors with white marks. This breed of dog needs a lot of exercising.

4. Boxer: These dogs are very playful and fun loving. They are patient and friendly. They are the only types of dogs who can express their emotions through their twinkling eyes. They are even friendly towards the other animals. The males weigh around 65-80 lbs and are 22.5-25” tall. Their female counterparts are 50-65 lbs and are 21-23.3” tall. They are mostly available in fawn color. They need a rough exercising routine to stay fit.

5. Dalmation: They are most well behaved and polite of all the dogs. They are very sociable. This friendly breed of dog is born pure white but in the later stages of their life they develop black spots on their body. They weigh something between 40-60 lbs and are 19-23” tall.

6. German Shepherd: They are very noble in character and appearance. It is one of the most courageous dogs and have considerably good senses. The males are 24-26” tall whereas the females are 22-24”. Both of them weigh 75-95 lbs. They usually come in black or Grey color with some brown marks. They are a regular exercising lover.

7. Pomeranian: They are the tiniest but the bravest of the dogs. It is one of the excellent watchdogs. They are very easy to train and can retain everything that is taught to them. They are 3-7 lbs in weight and are 8-11” tall. These dogs are available in almost all tangible colors.
