trying to figure out a name for the new pup. ?
Ok i’ve seen a lot of people ask this question and always thought it was silly til now its my turn lol. My deal is I am getting a female german shepherd puppy tomorrow. I want her name to be a strong name…one that says…proud/strong/protector.. Kids and I have searched name databases and we just cant seem to find that one perfect name. So if anyone has any ideas that would be great.
wow thanks for all the answers. It doesn’t necessarily have to be a certain frame of name. I just didn’t want cutesy names ( no offence to anyone who has those) lol. Just no prissy or sissy or foofoo names was my goal. we will feed off her personality I really just wanted ideas. I wanted it to also fit her when she’s a 70 lb dog also.

If you research properly, you will surely come across keywords that has low competition and provide good traffic. Low competition keywors are keywords that has lesser than 1000 searches. The lesser the competition, the higher the chance you can rank on the search engine. Low competition keywords have multiple words. High competition usually consists of 1 – 2 words. Examples of high competition keywords are dog or dog training. Examples of low competition keywords are german shepherd dog training.
META description is important because it describes the content of the page. It allows a search engine to rank a webpage based on the keyword in the description. Therefore, it is very important that you include keywords in the description. As the internet becomes more advanced, META description may have lesser and lesser value. However, it will always play a little part in helping the website to rank. You must realize that there are a lot of factors that make a website rank successfully on the internet. If your site did not score well in those factors, it won’t rank well in the search engine. The META keywords must not be filled with too many keywords. What breed do you think it is?
I am going to adopt a puppy from an animal shelter, but I don’t know breed it is. The database says that it is a german shepherd mix. It has the coloring of a german shepherd puppy (black and yellow/tan), but its fur is not as puffy as a GSD puppy and its paws are small. Just by this description, what are some breeds that pop into your head that this puppy may be.
If by German shepherd coloring you mean the following color pattern:

then there probably is German shepherd somewhere in the lineage.
However, if you mean this color pattern:

then there could be any number of breeds, including the Doberman pinscher, Rottweiler, miniature pinscher, German pinscher, beauceron, black and tan coonhound, etc.
There is no way to tell what the pup may be mixed with until it is a little older. Even then, there may be such a difference of color and structure that it’s impossible.

Why do people care about pedigree animals?
Whether it’s birds, dogs or even those fancy cats? Sure, I can understand how some dogs that are pedigree are good for certain jobs, like German Shepherds or Great Danes make great guard or attack dogs and some are excellent for search and rescue or sniffing out drugs, but when it comes to pets, why does anyone actually care?
A mongrel will be just as good a pet as a pedigree dog, a £25 budgie can be as much a companion as one that costs hundreds or even thousands, so why do some people care?
Just asking for opinions since I don’t understand it, not judging people who do.
Bottom line, unless you are going to show or breed, a pedigree means nothing. It’s just a bragging point. I paid $600 dollars for my purebred dog… yada yada yada.
To be honestly truthful, a mutt or mongrel stands a much better chance of being healthier and live longer. Bad breeding breeds faults (i.e., allergies, hip dysplasia, skin conditions, aggression, and a myraid of other things). Many popular breeds are bred badly just to make money. Often it is a movie that gets people interested in a particular breed. 101 Dalmations got people interested in a dog that tends to be aggressive and not good with children. Lassie (in the 50’s) got people wanting Collies (herding dogs can also be aggressive). Little Rascals and pit bulls which are banned in many areas are are truly one of the best family dogs because of their loyalty. The list goes on!
It’s all about the money with pedigrees.
